    Ben’s Fund

    Benjamin Blueberry Button

Ben’s Fund was created to share his love with others.

Ben was our first rescue pup, found on the streets of Bristol; our adopted furry son. He was with us for 14 amazing years, and left us a week after his 18th birthday after being diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer.

Following Ben’s departure over the rainbow bridge on 1st July 2025 my life became very dark and I couldn’t find a way out. There were other contributing factors, but losing Ben was one of my biggest fears realised; I was lost without him.

One morning it came to me that I was holding on to his loss as a means of safety; I had to create a space for positivity in his memory.

The day that he left us we donated a sum of money to Bristol Animal Rescue Centre. These funds had been raised whilst we were looking to have him treated. However, the cancer was too aggressive and we didn’t want to put him through it. Our wonderfully generous donators were given the option for a refund or for their donation to go to Cancer Research Wales or Bristol Animal Rescue Centre.

Ben was the sweetest boy who loved life, cuddles, blueberries, and long walks. His legacy should reflect his capacity for love.

Ben’s Fund will raise funds for chosen charities throughout the year, through fundraising events and percentage of sales on certain items, services, and workshops.

In memory of my Benjamin Blueberry Button, the sweetest boy.
